スペイン王朝がその絶頂にあった頃、国内には文化の花も咲き誇りました。宮廷ではここに聴くヴィリャンシコやロマンセと呼ばれる世俗的歌曲も歌われるようになりました。お上の堅いイメージとは程遠い、民衆の活気や先住のアラブ人やユダヤ教徒の文化がほどよくブレンドされた不思議な魅力に溢れる音楽が培われたのです。静かな切々とした歌も素敵だし、各楽器の音色の豊かさが楽しい踊りの曲もあります。トラック２２など最高のノリの良さ。こんな古楽を身にまといましょう。
