Antonii Baryshevskyi studied at the National Music Academy of Ukraine with Valeryi Kozlov. He has won fourteen national piano competitions, and won first prize and other important awards in several international piano competitions, among them First Prize at the Fourth Enescu International Piano Competition in Bucharest in 1999; Fourth Prize at the First International Sviatoslav Richter Piano Competition at Zhitomir in Ukraine in 2003; First Prize at the Fourth Performer-Composer International Piano Competition in St Petersburg in 2004; First Prize and Special Prize at the Eighth Vladimir Horowitz International Piano Competition in Kiev in 2005; First Prize at the Second International Piano Competition in Michelstadt, in Germany, in 2006; First Prize at the Fourth Isidor Bajic Piano Memorial Competition at Novi Sad, in Serbia, in 2008, and First Prize and Contemporary Music Prize at the 51st Premio Jaén International Piano Competition in Spain in 2009). He was a scholarship holder and laureate of the Ukrainian programme Man of the Year 2005. Antonii Baryshevskyi has performed in various concert halls as a soloist and with orchestras in Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Serbia, Poland, Germany, Spain and the United States of America. He took part in the EuroRadio Youth Concert in Munich in 2006. He
has made gramophone recordings, as well as radio and television appearances for the Ukrainian and Serbian Radio-Television. Actualmente, Antonii Baryshevskyi se especializa en la Academia Nacional de Ucrania, en la clase del profesor Valeryi Kozlov. Llegó ser el ganador de catorce concursos nacionales de piano, y ha sido primer premio en varios concursos internacionales, entre ellos: Primer Premio en el IV Concurso Internacional de Piano “Recordando a Enescu” (Bucarest, Rumania, 1999); Cuarto Premio en el I Concurso Internacional “Sviatoslav Richter” (Zhitomir, Ucrania, 2003); Primer Premio en el IV Concurso Internacional “Intérprete-Compositor” (San Petersburgo, Rusia, 2004); Primer Premio y Premio Especial en el VII Concurso Internacional “En memoria de Vladimir Horowitz” (Kiev, Ucrania, 2005); Primer Premio en el II Concurso Internacional de Michelstadt (Alemania, 2006); Primer Premio en el IV Memorial Internacional “Isidor Bajic” (Novi Sad, Serbia, 2008) y Primer Premio y Premio “Música Contemporánea” en el 51º Concurso Internacional de Piano “Premio Jaén” (España, 2009). Fue becado y laureado dentro del Programa Ucraniano “Hombre del Año 2005”. Antonii Baryshevskyi ha tocado en diversas salas de concierto como solista y con orquestas en Ucrania, Rusia, Bielorrusia, Serbia, Polonia, Alemania, España y los Estados Unidos. Formó parte del programa de EuroRadio “Youth Concerts” en Munich en 2006. Ha realizado grabaciones discográficas y apariciones en radio y televisión para las Radio Televisiones de Ucrania y Serbia.
