Mezzo-soprano Bettina Ranch initially studied violin in her hometown of Berlin before focusing on singing. She has recently given successful guest performances at renowned opera houses such as the Berlin State Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Komische Oper Berlin, Hamburg State Opera, Aalto Theatre, Grand Théâtre de la Ville de Luxembourg and Dutch National Opera, appearing in operas by Mozart, Wagner and Handel. On the concert stage she has repeatedly worked with renowned ensembles and orchestras such as the Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra, Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra, SWR Symphony Orchestra, RTVE Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi and Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, and with eminent conductors such as Hartmut Haenchen, Helmuth Rilling, Peter Rundel, Tomáš Netopil and Ivor Bolton.
