Latorre was born in Baracaldo (Biscay) in 1966. He studied singing at the Bilbao Conservatory and moved to Milan to further his studies in 1992. In 1995 he began a years work as a member of the La Scala chorus. Since then he has appeared throughout Spain and elsewhere, in operas such as Otello, La traviata, Rigoletto, The Magic Flute and The Barber of Seville under the baton of some of the worlds most respected conductors. In other genres he has sung Handels Messiah, Bachs Christmas Oratorio and Beethovens Ninth Symphony.
