The Slovak Chamber Choir was established in 1991 by Pavol Procházka at the request of concert organisations for the performance of chamber, vocal and instrumental compositions. The members of the Choir are professional singers selected from the Slovak Philharmonic Chorus and the Slovak National Opera, with some final year students from the Academy of Music, where Pavol Procházka holds a senior position. The professionalism of the singers has allowed a wide repertoire of sacred and secular music, ranging from the Renaissance to the contemporary. The Choir has performed in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, as well as in Germany, Bulgaria, Hungary, Spain, France and Italy.
