The Will Todd Trio was formed in 1999, and, as the Will Todd Ensemble, easily expands in size to range from trio to big band, performing extensively in both the jazz and contemporary classical worlds. The Will Todd Trio is widely recorded, performing with the Vasari Singers in Todd’s own work Mass in Blue and with saxophonist Lara James and the Pavao String Quartet in The Glittering Plain. Sounds of Freedom (2012) and Sounds of Light both feature the fusion soprano Bethany Halliday and brilliant British jazz trumpeter Graeme Flowers. Pianist Will Todd has received much critical praise for his jazz crossover works which have been performed across the world.
