Soprano Kimberly McCord is an enthusiastic singer of baroque music. She has appeared with Chicago’s Music of the Baroque in Mozart’s Solemn Vespers, Bach’s St Matthew Passion, Handel’s Dixit Dominus and Vivaldi’s Gloria. She has also sung the title rôles in Handel’s Rodelinda and Semele. She has appeared at the Peninsula Music Festival in Verdi’s Requiem and with Milwaukee Opera Theatre as Fiordiligi in Mozart’s Così fan tutte. Previous recordings include Bach’s Magnificat and Easter Oratorio for Deutsche Grammophon with the Gabrieli Consort, Paul McCreesh conducting. She is a member of the Lyric Opera of Chicago Chorus.
