Marie Perbost trained at the Radio France Choir and Conservatoire de Paris, and was crowned ‘Révélation artiste lyrique de l’année’ at the Victories de la musique Classique 2020.

A member of the Academy of the Paris Opéra during the 2017–18 season, she recently made her debut recording for harmonia mundi, Une jeunesse à Paris, dedicated to French music of the Roaring Twenties and comprising a mélange of songs, chansons and operettas with Les Frivolités Parisiennes.

A singer and actress, Perbost divides her time between the recital hall and opera house. She has appeared at the Philharmonie de Paris, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées and the opera houses of Toulouse and Versailles, and as a soloist and guest artist she has sung with ensembles including the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, Concert Spirituel, and the Orchestre National de France.
