Worthing Symphony Orchestra is the professional orchestra of West Sussex. It presents a dynamic season of concerts in the Assembly Hall, Worthing, one of the finest acoustics for orchestral music in Europe and home of one of Britain’s largest Wurlitzer organs. The eight-concert season includes an annual Schools Concert—free to local schools—and attracts audiences from across a wide area with programming that mixes well-known classics with neglected masterpieces—particularly by British composers. WSO is proud to work with many top international soloists such as Nicola Benedetti, Idil Biret, Jennifer Pike and Emma Johnson, and rising stars such as Jess Gillam and Sheku Kanneh-Mason.
