Pianist Jeremy Denk has appeared as soloist with many of the world’s finest orchestras including (among others) the Philadelphia Orchestra, the London Symphony, and the San Francisco Symphony. He appears in recital throughout North America and Europe, with regular appearances in New York (Carnegie Hall), Washington (Kennedy Center), and Philadelphia (Kimmel Center).
He has established a reputation for adventurous, unusual programming, ranging from Bach to Ligeti, Beethoven to Ives. His recording of Ives’ Piano Sonatas was on the top ten CDs of the year for the New York Times, Boston Globe, and Washington Post. He maintains relationships with a number of living composers.
