Konstantin Ingenpaß began his vocal training with Gerhild Romberger at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold. After gaining his Bachelor’s degree, he completed a Master’s in song interpretation (with Manuel Lange) and opera singing (with Friedemann Röhlig) at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe. He received further artistic inspiration from Mitsuko Shirai, Teru Yoshihara and Brigitte Fassbaender. In 2020, Ingenpaß was awarded First Prize at the International Art Song Competition of the Internationale Hugo Wolf Akademie, Stuttgart.
His extensive song repertoire has taken him to the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, Internationales Schubert-Fest Dortmund, Heidelberger Frühling, RheinVokal Festival and the Gargan Music Festival in Kanazawa, Japan. He has appeared in concert with renowned orchestras such as the Freiburger Barockorchester, Ensemble Resonanz and the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin.
2023 saw the release of volume three of the complete folk songs of Johannes Brahms, with Ulrich Eisenlohr on fortepiano (Naxos 8.574346), and the critically acclaimed Welt & Traum, featuring chamber music arrangements of works by Wolf, Liszt, Ullmann and Mahler (Hänssler Classic).
