Carlotta Fuga was awarded her piano diploma in 1989, under Bruno Bosio at the Conservatory of Turin, studying opera singing at the same time. She then she embarked on a busy concert career performing in chamber ensembles. She has taught piano at the ‘Sandro Fuga’ Civico Istituto Musicale in Avigliana since 1994, becoming its Principal in 1999.
In 1995 she founded the Sandro Fuga Association in memory of her father, the composer, for which she has taken artistic responsibility and organised numerous events. She has had a long artistic association with instrumentalists and singers performing in duos and has collaborated in the organisation and press coverage of numerous festivals and concert activities. From 1991 to 1998 she was on the staff of the ‘Settembre Musica’ Festival.
With her brother Giacomo she formed the four-hand piano Duo Fuga, which has had a busy concert schedule for many years. In 2013, with the participation of the actress Adriana Zamboni, she devised and performed L’accordo perfetto inspired by the life of Sandro Fuga.
