Michèle Lagrange made her operatic début at the Festival of Aix-en-Provence
in Il Turco in Italia. A fine dramatic soprano she has appeared in Benvenuto
Cellini, and Le Comte Ory at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires
and in Norma at Palermo. At the Paris Opéra National she has appeared
as Manon and as Norma. She has collaborated in performances of Jerusalem,
Don Carlos, Robert le diable, La Bohème, I Puritani, Don Giovanni, Faust,
and Idomeneo. Other engagements have taken her to opera houses in Lyon,
Bordeaux, where she sang Lady Macbeth, Liège, Montpellier, Seville, and
elsewhere. She collaborated in recordings of Poulenc's Stabat Mater,
The Love for Three Oranges, L'Enfance du Christ of Berlioz, Norma, Così
fan tutte, and Don Giovanni.
