Born in Frosinone, Italy, soprano Veronica Marini studied at the Santa Cecilia Music Conservatory in Rome.
The winner of the Bellini Prize at the Competizione dell’ Opera held at the Brucknerhaus Linz, she is a laureate of the 70th edition of the AsLiCo Competition, and was awarded Second Prize at the International Lyric Competition of Portofino (CLIP).
She made her stage debut at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome as Norina in Don Pasquale. Further debuts as Gilda (Rigoletto), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Adina (L’elisir d’amore), Micaela (Carmen), Nannetta (Falstaff) and High Priestess (Aida) followed in Venice, Palermo, Parma, Busseto, Rome and Como.
She has worked with conductors such as Jader Bignamini, Antonino Fogliani, Jordi Bernacer, Alessandro Palumbo and Michele Mariotti.
