The Spanish violinist Víctor Arriola, Peruvian in origin, was first taught by his father before entering the Lima Conservatorio at the age of eight, studying there with Eduardo Bolaños and continuing, from the age of eighteen, with Henryk Szeryng’s pupil Enrique Espín Yépez in Mexico. He later studied with Ruggiero Ricci in Salzburg. He has served with the symphony orchestras of Lima, the State of Mexico and Madrid and is a member of the Concertino of the ORCAM.
