Tiziana Carraro made her début at the Festival della Valle d’Itria of Martina Franca in 1991 as Aquilio in Vivaldi’s Farnace. In 1994 she won the Amici del Loggione del Teatro Alla Scala competition, and also the AsLiCo competition, making her début in the title rôle of Galuppi’s La Diavolessa. She has appeared in major Italian and international theatres, including the Arena di Verona (Nabucco, 2002/2003/2005, La Gioconda, 2005, Rigoletto, 2008), Teatro dell’Opera di Roma (Rigoletto, 2006, Carmen, 2008), Teatro La Fenice, Venice (Il crociato in Egitto, 2007, Nabucco, 2008), Teatro Massimo, Palermo (Aida, 2008), Teatro Carlo Felice, Genoa (Nabucco, 2010), Sferisterio di Macerata (Don Carlo, 2005), Terme di Caracalla (Nabucco, 2007), Busseto Verdi Festival (Aida, 2001), Teatro de la Pergola, Florence (Aida, 2003), Teatro Verdi, Trieste (Aida, 2009), Athens Megaron (Aida, 2001), Festival d’Opera, Avenches (Il Trovatore, 2006), Berlin Deutsche Oper (La Gioconda, 2008), Liège Opéra Royal de Wallonie (Mefistofele, 2007), Moscow Operetta Theatre (Aida, 2005), Festival di Musica, Strasbourg (Verdi Requiem, 2005), Tel Aviv New Israeli Opera (Don Carlo, 2006, La forza del destino, 2008, La Gioconda, 2008) and Bilbao Auditorium Euskalduna (Verdi Requiem, 2009).
