Born in 1966 in Bremen, Markus Pawlik is one of the most outstanding of the younger generation of German concert pianists. Having made a considerable impression at a number of competitions, he has toured extensively in Europe and North America, performing with many of the major symphony orchestras. In Germany he has appeared frequently on television, and has made numerous radio broadcasts. He has already made a very fine recording of the Moszkowsky Piano Concerto on Naxos.
