The soprano Corinna Mologni studied in her native Milan and at the Paris Conservatoire National Supérieur. Appearances in Italy were followed by an international career that took her in 1994 to the Finnish National Opera in Helsinki, where her rôles included Adina in L’elisir d’amore, Angelica in Orlando Paladino, Musetta in La Bohème, Violetta in La traviata as well as Woglinde and the Forest Bird in Götz Friedrich and Leif Segerstam’s new production of Wagner’s The Ring.
Corinna Mologni sang at the opening gala of the Baden-Baden Festspielhaus and appeared as the Contessa di Folleville in Maurizio Barbacini’s production of Il viaggio a Reims, televised by ARTE TV. She sang in Le Comte Ory at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna and has collaborated with the conductors Muhai Tang and Ralf Weikert among others. Other rôles have included Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi and Sofia in Il Signor Bruschino in Lausanne, as well as Nedda in Pagliacci in Essen and Elvira in I Puritani under Alberto Zedda and Lorenzo Mariani at the Berne Stadttheater. With Alberto Zedda she appeared as Autonoe in Sartorio’s Orfeo for the Mozart Festival in La Coruña. At the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris she made a guest appearance as Zdenka in Arabella.
