Since his success at the 2008 Victoires in the Best Lyrical Artist category, baritone Thomas Dolié has pursued a busy career spanning both operatic and concert repertoire. His 2015–16 performances included rôles from Ramiro in Ravel’s L’Heure espagnole at Angers Nantes Opera, to the Count in Le nozze di Figaro with Opéra National de Bordeaux and Opéra de Toulon, the title rôle in Lully’s Persée with Le Concert Spirituel at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, Fauré’s Requiem in Cologne with François-Xavier Roth and Campra’s Carnaval de Venise with the Collegium Marianum in Prague. Recital programmes include the Mélodies of Lalo at the Bru Zane Palazetto in Venice and Schubert in Montreal. He made his concert début in Montpellier as Papageno in Die Zauberflöte under Marc Minkowski and was thereafter invited to perform the rôle with opera companies in Marseille, Strasbourg, Nancy, Toulon, Avignon and Bordeaux. Between 2010 and 2014 he participated in the world tour of Peter Brook’s adaptation of Zauberflöte with the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord.
