Born in Częstochowa, the tenor Alexander Pinderak had his early vocal training in Poland, going on in 1988 to study at the Łódź Music Academy and at the Weber Musikhochschule in Dresden, where he spent five years with the Semperoper. In Vienna he collaborated with the State Opera and Vienna Hofmusikkapelle, while undertaking engagements throughout Europe, including appearances in 2004 at the opera in Kraków, and in 2006 taking the tenor solo in Beethoven’s Choral Symphony with the La Scala Orchestra at the Warsaw-Prague Festival. Since 2008 he has been a member of the Vienna Volksoper, where he made his début as Tamino in Die Zauberflöte.
