The repertoire of the Bamberg Symphony Chorus, directed by its founder Rolf Beck, ranges from sacred and secular a cappella music to large-scale choral works with orchestra.
Countless concerts, radio and television broadcasts and recordings have received critical acclaim far beyond Bamberg and Germany.
Among the conductors with whom the Chorus has collaborated are Giuseppe Sinopoli, Christoph Eschenbach, Herbert Blomstedt, Sir Roger Norrington, Georges Prêtre, Marcello Viotti, Horst Stein, Robin Ticciati and Jakub Hrůša
