Born in Celle, Germany, Jorn Lindemann trained as a piano-maker before studying opera at the Hochschule fur Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover. He has appeared as a soloist at the Gottingen International Handel and Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festivals among others, and has performed with numerous ensembles such as the Balthasar Neumann Choir.

He has served as a member of the Oldenburgisches Staatstheater and made guest appearances at the Komische Oper Berlin and Theater Dortmund among others. Lindemann also trains the Lower Saxony Youth Choir and teaches at the Brunswick Cathedral Choir School.
