The accentus chamber choir was founded in 1991 by Laurence Equilbey, and focuses on a cappella repertoire, contemporary works, oratorio and opera. Christophe Grapperon has been associate conductor of the choir since 2013. In 2017, accentus opened Le Cen, a centre dedicated to choral research. Accentus enjoys the support of the DRAC Île-de-France of the Ministère de la Culture, the City of Paris and the Île-de-France Region. Accentus is choir-in-residence at the Opéra de Rouen Normandie.
