Cutberto Córdova graduated in composition from the University of Veracruz, where in 1995 he was appointed as professor in the Music Faculty. He also took a prominent role in the department for introducing young people to music including the founding of a Guitar Orchestra. He has toured internationally as lecturer and soloist.
